I have a 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited with a Hemi 5.7 and my check engine light keeps coming on. It has been happening more in colder weather. Also the engine has made a sound like an exhaust leak from the time I purchased the vehical used with 38,000 miles. I took it to a trusted exhaust shop and they found no leaks. First the exhaust manifold has to be removed. Be careful not to snap any other studs. If enough of the broken stud is protruding and lucky sometimes they can be removed with a pair of vice grips or channel locks. If unlucky and its seized it'll require head or welding a nut on it.

Saw some posts, even on this forum, where people were so excited about the bore&stroke kits for 5.7L (348cu in) Hemi's that made them into 426 cu in Hemi's. Yet, you could find some really experienced engine builders stating, these kits are insane and you can expect your motor to be totally worn out, past another rebuild, after 50k miles.
