Posted January 14, 2003. The Si and SiR CRX are two very different cars under the skin. Larger brakes on SiR, better interior and more "hip hugging" seats on the SiR, etc. But more importantly, the engine mounts for the ZC1600 found in the Si are different to the B16A VTEC SiR mounts. Making an engine swap an expensive exercise.
