The location was a foresty area and most of my shots had the birds under the canopy. Natrually, the lighting wasn't the best there, and my lens is a 55-250mm f/5.6, which isn't the fastest. So to compensate for the lack of light, I made sure my shutter speed was at least 1/250 and increased ISO to get more light.
