I bought studio-10 with 700-usb when i had a xps 400 and the program ran fine. When i upgraded to a computer with windows 7, 64-bit, and AMD phenom(tm) II x4 925 processor 2.80 ghz the program still worked perfectly but the video playback flickers non-stop. I've tried running it in compatibility with vista and windows xp but still no luck.
Now, I have tried running the Pinnacle Studio in Windows XP and Windows 7 compatibility modes, only to see the program freeze upon launch. I have then purchased the latest 18.5 Pinnacle Studio, being told by Pinnacle support that it's 100% compatible with Windows 10, and I have updated it to the 18.6 version only to see it behave in exactly the
Pinnacle has had its fair share of problems with Studio . It is now owned by Avid and one is hoping thier efforts will help reverse its unfortunate reputation.Saying that, I currently have the full Studio 9.4 and 10.5 plus ( via upgrade from 10). I dont have any problems with it and I know Im not alone. This sadly, is not everybodys tale, . The only drivers I could find online for the DVC100 didn't seem to work so I had decided to rip the proper ones from the 'Pinnacle Studio for Dazzle' DVD that came with the device.
