I'm running 32s and I haven't had to cut a single thing out of the fenders to fit them. Even at full stuff and lock, the 32s fit just fine. I'll probably get 33s when I replace tires next. The long arm kit coupled with the trans crossmember really cleans up the underside of the Jeep. Definitely make sure the upper link bracket wasn't also bent. Check the brackets on the axle too and make sure the axle itself isn't tweaked. Somebody could cut and replace the bracket from a salvage vehicle with a little extra reinforcement. Should be a pro though. X-Flex Adjustable Control Arms: The Rough Country 6in Long Arm Suspension Lift Kit features fully adjustable X-Flex control arms. These fully greasable control arms feature OEM style, Clevite brand rubber bushings. The oversized flex joints have 2.5" diameter bodies and 1.25" threads, and they are rebuildable. This 4-inch Long arm Kit is a comprehensive package including everything needed for a great suspension lift while maintaining the vehicle's crucial center of gravity. Upgrade your WJ and gain aggressive looks, extreme flex, and enough ride height to run up to 31-inch tires. Registered. Joined Jun 27, 2008. 4,796 Posts. #3 ยท Jun 15, 2009. You'll need axles that can handle 35's, front and rear driveshafts. Extended brakelines. front adjustable tracbar, SYE kit, swaybar discos, new steering setup most likely. A good welder. A good grinder. 8" is too high for 35's IMO. Reply Quote.
